16, ink and paper.

Recently I have been painting on 16mm with some calligraphy ink. I was working on this piece of white paper (to keep my desk clean) and I was surprised at how beautiful it had become. Accidental art. My favorite.

This is incredible. I love it. I love accidental art. It really does have to be the most beautiful. I think it's cool you paint too. Check out my myspace---I have so much of my art up there.

Calligraphy on 16mm? Sounds innovative...certainly a step or two above me putting wanton scratches and dysfunctional splices into old 16mm prints as a little kid, just because film damage was (and still is) so fascinating to me.
At least calligraphy will run through the projector ;-)
